Feature Project: Jeremiah's Restaurant

Next Project »

Since the 1970’s, Jeremiah’s restaurant has been a well-recognized and popular restaurant in the Ogden community. In order to expand the restaurant to include dinner services, they needed to remodel and add additional space. The owners wanted to add a banquet room and also expand the dining space to include unique theme based dining areas.

A rustic interpretation of the Arts and Crafts movement was used to give the restaurant a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The rustic log bar stools are original to Jeremiah’s, and along with complementing the theme, they were reused due to their popularity with their customers. Intimate dining areas were created and clustered around unique fireplaces and hearths. Small details, such as vintage fishing poles by the bar, and Arts and Crafts stained glass in the windows, bring the theme to life. The front doors were custom designed for the project and were hand made locally.

After completion of the project, the owner reported that business had more than doubled, and remained consistent at that level. Jeremiah’s is now a place regular customers can relate to, and new customers will sense the charm and detail that went into the remodel.
